Why are Sonic fans mad at these dialogue changes?? If a game in my fav series got a redo and an adjusted script to lean on the established lore of the entire series, I would be so ecstatic?? Personally, I would see it as a love letter to the fans.
Personally, I don't mind these rewrites. The originals bothered me for years because how the heck wouldn't Sonic recognize South Island he literally visited there multiple times before. And Tails was born on Westside Island, Chemical Plant was an area polluting his home.
