[En] Finally, the publication of our results from the BEXUS 29 flight is online! The article is now published by the journal Icarus. Many thanks to all who made this paper possible! @REXUSBEXUS @DLR_de @RymdstyrelsenSE @esa @SSCspace @ZARM_de authors.elsevier.com/a/1bsfl4L-YYgur

The motivation which made us build an experiment for BEXUS is now public on Nature Physics! One step closer to reveal the mysteries of planet formation. #nature #REXUSBEXUS #physics #zarm #planetformation

Step 1. Pour thousands of glass beads into a container. Step 2. Shake vigorously. Step 3. Fling more than 100 meters skyward. Step 4. Science. sciencenews.org/article/electr…

About 1 month ago: Launch of BEXUS 29 What an awesome campaign!

Now that more than a week is over after coming back to Germany we proudly present the four most stunning pictures from Esrange. It was an awesome week which we won't forget in lifetime! Now we are busy to evaluate the data we've got above the clouds. #astrophysics #ssc #dlr #esa

Here is the launch moment of yesterday morning. After almost 3,5h flight our Ballon landed in Finland and was recovered from the landing spot. By now we have our experiment already back. Let’s see what happened… instagram.com/p/B4AN5KZo_UL/…

On day four the gondola with all the experiments passed the last tests, hanging on Hercules. The launch time is determined for 06:00 tomorrow morning. So we will meet at 02:00 for last preparations 😴 • • •… instagram.com/p/B38O8LaIn5D/…

Hercules got the gondola with our experiment. See you soon

Third day on ESRANGE in Kiruna. Right now we participating the interference test with our gondola neighbors @TANOS_BEXUS, @r2c2bx and shade. Everything seems to work just fine. 👌🏻

#Science #ISS #DLR #astrophysics #granular_matter

Right now we are doing our last tests for #BEXUS29 We check the functionality of our experiment at temperature and pressure as they will work during the flight. So far everything works very well. 👏🏼

So today we connected our electronics to the lit of our pressure vessel and everything fits and sits where it belongs.

We've got a new animation of our experiment's procedure - the design is up to date! The prototype experiment is already running, now we are working hard to build our flight model. Only one month left to the Thermal-Vacuum-Test at ZARM.

Today we reached the next milestone and passed the IPR. Again a big step to the flight in Kiruna! Thanks to Torsten for the constructive review and helpful suggestions. Our prototype is nearly combat-ready! #rexusbexus #space #Science #bexus29

Our workshops did a good job! Our pressure vessel is absolutely airtight and can keep an overpressure of 2 bar without any problems 👍 What we designed on paper is now ready for reality!
