It was a pleasure to represent @UniWestScotland and @uwslangstesol for the second year in a row at the #TELIC2024 conference. Well done to all involved in organising what is a great, student-friendly event.

One of my students (along with @FernandoLSolis) was in action over the weekend!

Congratulations to @uwslangstesol PhD student Ge Xin (@qinghuanyufeng) who recently presented at the TELIC 2024 conference. Very impressive to be presenting when still in the first year of a PhD!

Lovely evening at Paisley Abbey and UWS yesterday. Congratulations to everybody who graduated (in person or in absentia) and it was a pleasure to see so many MEd TESOL graduands in person again.

Congratulations from all in @uwslangstesol to the 2023-24 MEd TESOL students who graduated yesterday from @UniWestScotland in Paisley. We know some people couldn't make it, but it was a lovely ceremony and reception, and it was great to see so many of you in person.

Fantastic achievement by @uwslangstesol, and it's all possible thanks to the formidable leadership and persistence of @KatyHighet, who should be very proud...and hopefully very drunk.

Huge thanks to Declan & to Piotr Wegorowski for being wonderful externals and to all involved in getting this programme approved! Special thanks to my @uwslangstesol colleagues! @irishosaru @FernandoLSolis @PaulaAlcBar @LGiraudJ1 and Luke Holmes! Can’t wait to start🥳

TELIC at @utpb was a fantastic conference last year - free to attend and accessible to both academics and students. Looking forward to this year's event hosted at @EdUTPB - and still time to submit an abstract: easychair.org/cfp/TELIC2024

A fantastic event to be part of, and so important for UK universities to stay focused on education in modern languages, to maintain and improve links with other European colleagues, and to continue to develop ideas for student and staff mobility programmes and opportunities.

It was a pleasure for @uwslangstesol to host the Comenius Autumn Meeting here at @UniWestScotland A week of stimulating and motivating discussion and knowledge-sharing on language education, and some cultural events too. Thanks to @LGiraudJ1 and @irishosaru for their hard work.

Two loyal servants of the club.

Stephen Christopher and Lee Devitt were presented with commemorative jerseys last Friday to mark both players reaching 100 competitive appearances for Treaty United 👏
