If you wear a Mets hat around the city, people yell "Let's go mets". If you wear a Yankee hat, they ask "Where are you from?"

Reminder: The Mets are the team of the gentrification class. Be a real New Yorker. Root for the Yankees. With @svzwood

If you had an API to interface with all your credit cards, bank accounts, online spending, what would you build?

I’ve said this before but the fact that very experienced iOS engineers keep asking this exact question remains one of the most damning things about the platform.

between SwiftData (too broken), CoreData (too heavyweight), and UserDefaults (too simple)... is there some other persistence layer/framework for iOS that makes it easy to store standard Codables and arrays of Codables? right now i'm rolling my own, but willing to look around

Please send feedback—what would you like to see us add to Link?

link.com is underrated. Great consumer experience and measurably increases revenue for merchants.

Does anyone use OmniFocus 4? I've held off on upgrading because the initial reviews seemed... bad. iOS 18 is prompting me to reconsider but reviews... still seem bad!

Co-sign, @CastroPodcasts is rejuvenated

👀 @1Password @FitbodApp @CastroPodcasts Side note: the new Castro team is killing it! I was worried the acquisition would spell the end, but the app is more reliable than ever and even got some nice CarPlay enhancements. (I can forgive not supporting dark mode day one)

We're hiring a Design Leader at Stripe to support Link, our consumer-facing payment product! Come help us build the best, fastest, and safest way to pay online. stripe.com/jobs/listing/p…

💯 correct about football. Hockey is also better live than on TV.

iMessage should have built-in Doodle functionality

Tim Cook says 'we'll see what the developers do' with Apple Intelligence, omitting the fact developers currently have essentially nothing they can do ... APIs for summarisation and the like are simply non-existent in the iOS 18 SDK.

👋 Have you used Link (Stripe’s one-click checkout product) recently? If so, I’d love any feedback. What would your 2-3 top feature requests be? Thank you!

This is ultimately going to hasten the decline of native macOS/iOS software more than e.g. App Store policies.

+1

I think people are sleeping on the AI development happening within ⁦@ReadwiseReader⁩. It’s coming along very much how I would think AI should be built into reading apps.
