❓Did you realise Infotec’s first high volume manufacture was of timer units for tumble dryers? As we celebrate our 30th birthday, we are now the UK’s #1 designer and manufacturer of #railway passenger information displays with a growing overseas market. bit.ly/3v3H87N

Today marks Infotec’s 30th birthday! It was on April 6th, 1992, that we were incorporated. Thanks to our clients, suppliers and our staff, without whom reaching this landmark would not have been possible. Here’s to the next 30! #MadeinBritain #railway

#greencredentials Offering remote Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) online, as we now do, removes the need for clients to travel to our premises and so reduces the number of vehicles on the road. #madeinbritain

It’s that time of year again 🥞🥞🥞

Passenger management – use Infotec’s displays to influence #passenger behaviour. Examples include Wait/Prepare/Go at Manchester Piccadilly (pictured), platform zoning at Heathrow, and the position of LED platform displays for GTR to encourage passenger spread. #Notonefitsall

We're pleased to see you admiring the @Infotec full colour display @JohnTillUK, thank you!

@SW_Help⁩ Just an FYI, your shiny new CIS ( looks great by the way) has a scrolling message saying that face coverings must be worn from 30/11?

It's great to see the passenger screen door displays Infotec designed and manufactured bit.ly/32wk0Vp for the #Elizabethline in use - clearly visible at the start and end of this @BBCNews clip bbc.com/news/av/uk-eng… #London #Railway

#Notonefitsall Platform displays come in various types too – white LED offers the advantage of a very high contrast and a longer distance legibility. @GWRHelp, client for the one shown, is using them for zoning, reducing passenger dwell time on the platform. #passengermanagement

Tweet Image 1

#Notonefitsall Some major stations chose to use multiple locations for CIS displays. They distribute passengers around the station, enable zoning for getting people in the right place ahead of time, and there’s no single point of failure.

Tweet Image 1

#Notonefitsall When it comes to Customer Information System configuration, Focal point (single large display), is a popular choice, both RGB and white LED. They can’t be missed, have lots of space for information and less equipment to install/maintain. ❓Are they your favourite?
