Monopoly has been training us for YEARS to be susceptible to this. Who’s @Hasbro really working for?!?!
my favorite remarketing emails are from redfin, who is like "we saw you bought a house. would you like to buy ANOTHER HOUSE?"
A note on the Princeton-Radboud Study on Privacy Law Implementation. I am the Principal Investigator, and I sincerely apologize for the burdens caused by this academic research project. privacystudy.cs.princeton.edu
Outrageous: Facebook is shutting down NYU’s independent advertising accountability research, on the pretext that the Federal Trade Commission requires that step. Part of a long-running pattern of obstructing academic research and investigative journalism. about.fb.com/news/2021/08/r…

Quantitative research is essential for understanding tech policy problems and for holding platforms accountable. Here's the problem: methods and data often aren’t adequate. @mozilla and my group at @PrincetonCITP are launching an initiative to change that. rally.mozilla.org
I love this. Because it’s true. That is annoying. But also, imagine after hundreds of hours designing for looks, efficiency, safety, manufacturability, reliability... only to get shredded because it’s not self cleaning. Can’t win them all.
I’m sure this is intentional somehow but it annoys me how our cars are curved so that rain cannot wash them off
All this time we’re touting far-fetched theories like “super” volcanoes and meteor strikes “from space”, when the simple fact is dinosaurs became extinct because they are delicious. 🍗

Don’t worry Mr. DeGroat, these people are all wrong
Awesome insights from @iashwash and @Area1Security on how distributed #engineering teams can use @SlackHQ area1security.com/blog/three-way…

Proud to work closely with @SaurabhsNeurons, Stephen, and @shenoystanford on this project! An intriguing effect of estim on error driven learning that surprised us 🧐
New paper out in @NeuroCellPress looking at the causal role of motor preparation during error-driven learning. Huge thanks to my superb co-authors @djoshea, S. Ryu, and @shenoystanford #tweeprint below. 1/15 cell.com/neuron/fulltex…
I just love the people in Chicago.
One before the deploy and one after. This is known as “two-factor”.
Excited to share my @TheAtlantic debut on #5G, China, and the West. It’s a product of months of working this issue on both sides of the Atlantic. Thanks to @danteramos for making it happen! google.com/amp/s/amp.thea…
Screwed up and tracked them in raw numbers, so he’s doing great but didn’t factor an uncorrelated growth in users.
My @Area1Security colleagues are awesome people! wbaltv.com/article/brothe…
