It's a joy to welcome this volume which has been long in coming. Massive thanks to Dr @HarveyKwiyani (who I'm privileged to be learning from and working alongside) and to every contributor who made this volume possible. #AfricanTheology #AfricanChristianity #COVID19 #Pandemics

Feels incredibly blessed to have worked with @iamjosephola and all contributors getting this book out. African scholars reflect here on what happened among their churches. We will not forget what COVID-19 did to us all. @missioafricanus publishing.

It's great to be back in the city of Vancouver, where I am teaching a week-long summer course titled "Beyond Empire: Rethinking the History of Global Christianity" at the Vancouver School of Theology. This also afforded me the privilege of giving a public lecture this evening.

"Justice is the foundation of his throne" will never sound the same again. Talk about political theology in Africa.
