Anyone in your timeline saying this is staged, the fault of one side or the other, whatabouting, or really, anything other than sitting tight and waiting for more information, is likely someone you'll never have a productive conversation with and might as well block.

What if Joe Biden turns out to be the real comeback kid?

“It’s time to stop treating politics like entertainment.” One of the best lines of the night, at least for me

We are so grateful to Mika and Joe for having George Conway, Barbara Comstock, and me on Morning Joe this morning to discuss the Society for the Rule of Law’s “Statement of Principles to Preserve, Protect, and Defend the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and American Democracy.”

THIS is the man who is supposed to be cleaning out Joe Biden's click in November. I'll take a diminished Joe over a stark raving mad lunatic Trump ANY day! America, wtf?????

At his rally tonight, Trump said that when he was President, he didn’t know what NATO was. He bragged about not knowing what NATO was.

As dark as things seem right now, here’s one thing we know for certain: There are more people in this country who oppose Donald Trump than there are people who support him. So if all those people vote, Trump loses. NO MATTER WHO THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE IS. So I pledge to vote for…

Oh boy. Trump’s Doral rally tonight was a doozy. Let’s recap it: He started off by bragging about his golf course instead of apologizing for being an hour late and leaving people waiting all day under a heat advisory. He said he didn’t know what NATO was. He bragged that…

Donald Trump is a criminal. He’s a pathological liar. He’s a traitor. He’s an authoritarian. He’s a con man. He’s a bully. And he’s a psychopath. Joe Biden is just old. And way too many Americans have lost their way. And forgotten right from wrong. And allowed themselves to be…

Before I head downstairs for some late-night TV, I am going to do something I’ve never done: To see if I can get through to some of you, I AM GOING TO USE A SPORTSBALL ANALOGY! /1

So I’ve very publicly said repeatedly that Biden should step aside. Because Trump must lose. Period. Nothing else matters but Trump losing. But I’m starting to get really pissed off at the whole fucking notion that we’re talking about ONLY Biden stepping aside. Only Biden. WHAT…

Trump was recently interviewed saying he would, if elected again, release ALL the Kennedy documents. He first then stated he would also release all the Epstein info. Quickly pulled back and said not as much Epstein, concerned over some of the info implicating " innocent" people.

Remember when Maga was clamoring for the release of Epstein docs. They got really quiet when Trump appeared in the flight logs. More docs are being released and low and behold Trump appears in them too.

The Supreme Court didn't simply say "all presidents have immunity." They said "ultimately, we will decide on a case by case basis which presidents have immunity for which actions." So while it's nice to think about Joe Biden using his new immunity, I doubt the Supreme Court…

1/ I admit my cynicism as I say I think America's time is over. Our institutions are corrupted and bent. However, it bears reminding ourselves that we wouldn't be here, at this moment, if it hadn't been for the policy lust and hunger for control held by American Evangelicals.

John A. Reposted

I guess I'm naive, but I really thought a good number of conservatives would be unhappy about just how above the law the Supreme Court has placed the most powerful person in government.

John A. Reposted

I need to read more. But I think I should admit what I’ve already concluded: I was wrong about how I thought the Court would rule on the immunity issue. And I think that while Sotomayor’s dissent is a bit over the top, her concerns are more well-founded than I would have thought.

Heartbreaking.
