You're not wrong. And you see how they're operating right now. Rumors floating around of the Giants benching their $40M QB after the bye week. Saquon Barkley would've still been in purgatory over there. He did what was best for his career.
Still think letting him go was the right move for them. The Giants paying for him would be like putting gold rims on a totalled Oldsmobile.
The Giants were stupid to let him leave. Letting him go to a division rival should've been a fireable offense. No one didn't believe that Saquon didn't have the talent but the Giants ineptitude shadowed that while he was there.
