The “pandemic pelvis” is definitely real for many women in our region! So thankful for the strong PT resources we have in our area to augment our office therapies.
I’m noticing a phenomenon I call “pandemic pelvis”—an exacerbation of pelvic floor disorders due to prolonged sitting and lack of distraction from sensations like the need to urinate, etc. Since March 2020, urinary frequency, IBS, coccydynia, and levator muscle spasm have ⬆️⬆️⬆️
