I first got involved with this issue when I was contacted by climbers concerned about the Grampians closures back in 2019. Unfortunately, their fears of large closures at Arapiles have also been planned. I called for a special committee to look at these issues properly before…

Hey #agchatoz, there's a bit of groundswell behind a rally in Canberra on 10 September. Led by #KeepTheSheep but also taking in issues like water buybacks, new taxes, transmission lines + more... What do you think? RT if you'd like to see it happen.

Just finished modelling the impact of CSIRO GenCost & large nuke plants A system that includes 73% nuclear plus VRE remains 1/2 the cost of AEMO's Step Change Scenario Caused by VRE overbuild, transmission, distribution, storage & the massive time it takes to build all that stuff

Through continued support of the Albanese Government, we are seeing excellent farming conditions across this great country. These cattle are resting after being milked, and will be back in full production by the afternoon. #WellGovernedAg #WattAGreatMinister

@AlboMP government has created an HUMAN and ANIMAL WELFARE CRISIS in WA with #LiveExport phaseout They failed to listen.. Ignored the facts and science Zero regard for WA Ag sector and rural communities Now sheep being destroyed by the thousands ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #KeepTheSheep

Someone just posted this on Facebook. Forming AEMO certainly did the opposite of reducing (or even maintaining) electricity prices in Australia.

The disgraceful ALP war on sheep means thousands of sheep will die, and farmers will be ruined. All to pander to inner city lefties who have no idea where their food comes from.

In the last 48 hours, the 8GW of approved & built #Victorian windfarms produced less power than they need to operate. Even if you covered the entire state with them, you would have needed 150GW of back up battery, or a real base load power supply @LilyDAmbrosioMP @JacintaAllanMP

Can anyone help explain how the Tassie freight equity system works with Livestock transport from Tassie to mainland? It’s been a fair while since we last purchased stock out of Tassie and I can’t remember how it is calculated and rebate structure etc??? #tassiefarmers #livestock

View this morning over looking the Wimmera plains to the east. Proposed VNI-West Transmission lines to rip right through this prime agriculture land. This is Ag land not energy land, producing clean, safe, reliable and affordable food and fibre. #wakeupaustralia

#askagtwitter looking for some severn wheat seed if anyone has some.

Up to 70% of all Victorian agricultural land will be sacrificed to meet these targets. Food security, tourism destruction and the complete industrialisation of the regions is the inevitable outcome. Refer to the Victorian Gov Offshore Wind Policy Directions Paper:

Bit of a stitch up this morning 393m fence measured with a good lufkin wheel 2x200m rolls of cyclone brand rolled out to 375m total. Not sure they will stretch the distance.

They don't know what the uptake will be thats why they didn't want to say whether they would cut price for non ESG producers. If enough of us tell them to shove it they will buy our stock as usual. After last year they will be lucky to get enough as it is..
