The Brooklyn Bridge just got more welcoming for locals & visitors alike! The next phase of “The Arches” opened today on the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge. After major restoration and cleaning, nearly 15k sq ft of precious public space has been returned to the community.

We're improving bus speeds for 15,500 daily @NYCTBus riders on one of Manhattan’s busiest crosstown routes! Construction has begun on a major redesign of Manhattan’s 96th St, which will add 1.7 miles of bus lanes from West End to 2nd Aves, & pedestrian safety improvements.

Great news: One of the last remaining gaps in the greenway around Manhattan is about to be filled. A new walkway along the East River will be built connecting E.41st St to E.53rd St, around the UN. One step closer to completing the full 32-mile loop around the island. Let's go!
