Trying to clear out the freezer before we get another half cow. Found some stew meat. Cooked it in the instapot w some broth, soy, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, and sesame oil. It turned out really well! Served it with some rice and kimchi!

Made another batch of brown sugar cinnamon syrup for our shaken espressos!

Needed a quick meal. Found some frozen wontons (without the wrappers) in the freezer. Warmed up some broth and added some noodles and freeze dried green onions!

Random homemade ramen. Used some homemade pork broth, marinaded some pork belly and pan fried it... sous vide some ramen eggs, cooked some organic ramen noodles. Topped with home grown freeze-dried green onions.

Not the best photo but we had potato pancakes with our steak tonight. It's becoming one of my favorite sides! Just throw together some mashed potatoes, add a little flour, garlic powder, salt, shredded cheese, and green onions or chives. Make into a patty and pan fry!

Cinnamon raisin bread made in the bread machine! One of my childhood favorites! My family enjoyed eating it plain. I toasted it and put cream cheese on one toast and butter in a other.

We tried salmon salad instead of tuna today and it was a hit! Super tasty on our homemade Ritz crackers! The children gobbled it up and are asking for more!

The extent of our homesteading in AZ 3 years ago. I first started growing green onions from the grocery store and we had a small compost pile in the corner of our back yard. Look at us now 😜
