Today morning along Kasangati - Wampewo Rd, I saw a young girl in school uniform wailing in pain, calling for her mum after she was knocked perhaps by a speeding Bodaboda or Car! It was sad! I also see very young Kids carried on speeding bodas to school! What next??

The kids need the most care from day one. Warm bedding, regular vet visits, complete breastfeeding, isolation from the adult pen, deworming, Lots of vitamins and a large play ground to develop the Borns. Let's eliminate mortality and keep the numbers growing.
It's a season of rain. Let us vaccinate and watch out for sick animals. Isolate and treat immediately. You need to stock OTC, Pen&strep, Hotel and dewormers (Levafas diamond).
Deworming of goats: Recommended weekly/Monthly and buy the dewormers from a licensed vet outlet. Injectable dewormers will kill the stubborn worms. It's a best practice.
Hygiene is a very important aspect for every goat farm. The goat pen must be swept, cleaned and disinfected every day preferably when the animals are out for feeding. That way, you reduce disease.
To start any business, you the promoter must first like it..this is what we term passion. That even if you fall 10 times, you will have the energy to hold on and take off on the 11th time. For the goats business, you have to love the goats and know them in and out.
