So pleased to see this important paper published. Our @NICEComms GC 204 found bcyp research falling short because of how it was reported. Research funders take note! @NIHRresearch @LucyChappell2 @The_MRC @JamesEdPsych @shahrakhee @DrDougalH @emmabeeden @ItsAishahF @shauntreweek

If the last variant of Covid-19 we knew about was Delta and now suddenly we are on to Omicron, does that mean we have had 10 variants (Epsilon to Xi) in between that nobody has told us about?

Our work for the guideline showed that children as young as 4 years wanted to be asked, and are probably better using an iPad than their parents!
@KathEvans2 @WeCYPnurses I have also realized when patients are discharged of the ward we only take feedback from the parents, actually we should be handing the iPad to age appropriate young people to take their views instead of the parents experience. #WeCYPNs #BCYPExp
Today the NICE guideline on ‘Babies children and young people’s experience of healthcare has been published’. This is a landmark publication as England is one of the first countries to have specific guidance on BCYP experience (Thread 1/8) nice.org.uk/guidance/NG204

That feels like a useful morning’s work. Triple layer cotton face masks for the family made. Husband and son went for the recycled bandana version. Daughter and I went for stripy pyjama look from leftover material box. Hope @trishgreenhalgh is right and these stop us spreading.

There’s a lot of misinformation doing the rounds about #coronavirus, and it’s hard to know who to trust. Visit nhs.uk/coronavirus to find out what the symptoms are, how to prevent the spread, and who should stay at home.
Hi. I’m a pharmacist. You may know me from: “No, I don’t count paracetamol for a living”, “No, I didn’t want to be / am not a failed doctor”, “No I’m not giving that however much you want, it’s not safe” & “No it won’t take 1 min as it’s more than sticking some labels on a box”.
This week we are handing out these cards to patients with their medicines, to riase awareness of the Yellow Card reporting scheme. Inside the cards are contact details, info on what happens to Yellow Card reports and Info about #MHRA. @MHRAmedicines @Leic_hospital #pharmacy
