Oh great. Now the 15th & 16th ranked team will pissed they didn’t make it. Here’s my opinion: if you aren’t a top 8 team, don’t complain if you get left out. Play better and get ranked in the top 8

I’m sure the feeling is a lot like winning the SEC Tournament just to get upset by an Ivy League school after your best player said “we aren’t losing another game”, but I’ve never had that feeling either so I wouldn’t know.

I don’t get why Alabama is saying they’re not going to schedule anyone good moving forward. Who did you schedule this year? • 8-5 WKU • 6-6 USF • 5-7 Wisconsin • FCS Mercer Alabama lost games they didn’t schedule, and 2 of them weren’t even quality SEC opponents either.
Folks don’t realize that SOS, SOR & H2H are tiebreaker criteria. The committee saw that we lost to two bad teams with 1 being 2 weeks ago. SOS does matter but not the full picture of getting people in the playoffs.
But what Alabama fans aren’t realizing is that we lost to 2 bad teams. We have good wins but at the end of the day you can’t lose multiple games to bad teams. Doesn’t matter if we played 4 FCS teams OOC and didn’t run the risk of losing, we still lost to 2 bad teams.
Seems like people are having a really tough time understanding. No one is saying this years OOC played a factor in the rankings. The point is, there shouldn’t be a focus going forward on making your SOS any tougher outside of IC. For example, there isn’t a point in Alabama…
