As an artist, I think the most frustrating thing about AI discourse is that the vast majority of people arguing with you aren't artists, yet they'll tell you what defines art, how the industry works, how you should 'adapt', and what the optimal future of creativity looks like.
I know that we as artists are all feeling very tired and jaded. We're only just into 2024 and it's full of AI and disappointment. But please don't quit. Your art is worth fighting for. No-one can take away your love for creating beautiful things. Keep painting. 💕🫂
Wacom using AI is the wildest so far, they stand to lose the most from AI images. Who is going to buy your tablets if industry artists dwindle and kids grow up believing the art process is an inconvenience? They should be fighting tooth and nail against AI
