People waste years optimizing a life they don't want to live because they haven't taken the time to think about what they actually want to do. Obvious, but it bears repeating because so much online content is about little tips, tricks, and routines that miss the bigger picture.

How do you balance multiple platforms? First: focus on one or two as your main platforms so you can engage and get the best results. But then… Repurpose for all other platforms. Make it easy on yourself. So when you log in, just focus on replies and engagement.

Don’t hit record and waste hours when you already have a library of content you’ve barely used. Let’s talk repurposing. Chances are, you have a video, article, or other assets you’ve published and shared... and then stopped there. ⬇️

A constant red flag with content… Big paragraphs and long, winded articles don’t work if the value isn’t there.

It’s the legacy focus on word count and lack of adaptation to how people read on the web. A mixture of poor influences on them and a lack of exposure to real world scenarios.

In the same way Facebook is used for family and friends, an email newsletter platform should be focused on close relationships. People can opt in/opt out as needed, and you can update your close circle.

I don’t know why, but this perspective shot of Girl with a Pearl Earring is fascinating.

I just recommended Wix instead of WordPress for my Dad's new website and now I hate myself 😞 His other site uses WordPress, which he hates and gets stuck on every time. He wants a simple template-based site with zero flexibility. That's not WordPress.
