To meet new state housing law, Newton aims to make its villages a little taller - could add 10k units in 3% of land area mostly by adding a few floors in village commercial areas! bostonglobe.com/2023/06/05/bus…

Regional Rail provides equitable, fast, & frequent alternatives to cars. A fully realized Regional Rail system would provide subway-equivalent service, with peak trains as frequent as every 5-7 min. 🚉⚡️ Read @transitmatters NEW REPORT: static1.squarespace.com/static/533b9a2…

I just royally pissed off the ice cream man by letting my 6yo daughter pay for her frozen treat with change counted out of the coin purse that she brought along solely in hopes of seeing an ice cream truck. He’s lucky I made her stick to quarters! But srsly $5 bomb pop!?

This news is a breath of fresh air! Hopefully many more stories like this will be coming: With high costs and little new housing, Lexington becomes first town to meet ambitious new zoning law - The Boston Globe bostonglobe.com/2023/04/13/bus…

Finally after so much hand wringing we’ve come to senses and decided that even -gasp- libraries can have housing over the ground floor. To bad this comes after my local branch was rehabbed as only a single story affair. bostonglobe.com/2023/04/06/bus…

Best part: “Due to its proximity to the MBTA Green, Red, and Orange lines, the project is not proposed to include any parking for cars or other vehicles, though bike parking is included.” bostonglobe.com/2023/04/04/bus…

I also want to apologize for breaking our OTP (On Time Performance) yesterday. We had to delay some of our trains to give a way to #RailForceOne. It was painful for me and my team, but I had to do that. So only 90% of our trains arrived on time yesterday. I apologize.
