Today I visited the #Roman ruins of Conimbriga in #Portugal which are quite extensive and have plenty of mosaics. I am standing in the peristyle of the Casa da Cruz suástica, a wealthy house that dates to 1st C AD although the #mosaics are from the second half of the 3rd C AD.
