Going on a road trip this weekend, so my phone is loaded up w/ music. It’s all either new music that’s come out in the last few weeks or 90s grunge because when I read a book, I like to ‘live’ in the time in which it’s set. This is your PSA to read Everybody Loves Our Town.
Days of the New were a funny band. They sound like a band who saw Alice In Chains on MTV Unplugged, but then hired Jack Johnson to play all their guitar solos.
Is it not strange how GWAR is in Empire Records (both a song, and a cameo) but not on the soundtrack? Really makes you wonder what’s *really* going on, maaaaan.

I hate to be ‘that guy’, but if I’m looking to discover new music and I search your band up only to find a handful (or more) of other bands with the same name…get a new name.
The drum fill in ‘In Bloom’ (you know which one) might be the hookiest drum fill to come out of the 90s. I’ll air drum the shit out of it, every time the song plays.
Last time I went thrifting, I came home with a Black Flag 7”. This time? A white whale for me, for sure.
The way Bri from @cliffdiverOK says ‘lil bitch’ on ‘lord have mercer’ sends me every time. If you haven’t given their new record, ‘Birdwatching’ a listen, what have you been doing?!
