There are two tensions in the world underneath 'life and death'. Chaos and Order, and Independence and Interdependence. Privilege is a problem with dealing badly with that tension. It's a moral catastrophe, and a living lesson. I weep at MLK's grace.

Every engineer must read this RCA. I’ve been guilty of “layerinitiss” E.g. solving a problem at the wrong level of abstraction. With the 737max a hardware problem was patched with software. Thanks @greg_travis for a much needed open analysis of a terrible failure of engineering.
