Hurricane Kristy continues northwestward across the Pacific Ocean.
A landslide shut down Interstate 5 in Washington on Sunday, just south of the US-Canada border. Washington DOT officials said it left an estimated 2,000 cubic yards of debris across I-5. The interstate reopened several hours later.
