If you don’t think @ryder_ripps RRBAYC is a genius display of conceptual art then it’s only because you are unable to identify the conceptual art on display. Yuga isn’t going to win its case against him nor will his collection devalue @yugalabs

NFTs are bytecode NFTs are NOT art NFTs are NOT images Apps (marketplaces, wallets, etc) access this bytecode via blockchain to generate data (url, b64, etc) specific to each token id These apps then use these urls and load corresponding media You’re not buying jpegs.
Maybe they should be called DYORR/BAYCs because like it or not, @ryder_ripps latest conceptual art, #RRBAYC , will teach 99% of this space what NFTs actually are, basically forcing people to learn how the blockchain works. You are not buying JPEGS.
RR/BAYC will be central to the history of the early era of NFT’s because many people found his idea to be incredibly powerful and the status quo found him to be a threat who deserved censorship.
What most don't seem to get about NFTs: The art is not in the image, it's in the 1-of-1 token on the blockchain. The image can be the same, it's the token that is not fungible. Unique. The appearance is identical, but the soul is different. #RRBAYC

My profile picture is RR/BAYC because it is a commentary on Yuga Lab's false claims of IP law and copyright regarding their NFTS (you don't own the ape), and to satirize hexagon profile pictures who cling on to NFT's as if it's a personality trait.
