My husband and I are middle aged which means our parents generation is starting to age out of driving. Once someone cannot drive, they are basically disappeared from society and become *completely* dependent on others even if they could still walk or run errands. It’s a prison.
So yesterday I said sorry to one of the secretaries at work for a paperwork thing I took ages to do and she said ‘don’t worry, you’re no shitter than the rest of them’ Honestly you have no idea what an amazing compliment this is when you work in the nhs.

Talking about #digitalmaternity is there a publicly accessible list of which units are using which systems? There are clear differences and superiority of some systems - MVPs need to be engaged in procurement processes. This is v important for safety for next 30+ years.
I read something on here about having a planned, systematic programme of "de-implementation", removing as many unnecessary, redundant or duplicated processes as possible. I guess a bit like LEAN on a much wider scale. I now think this is the BEST idea ever.
