The Pistons actually remind me a lot of last year’s Rockets team. Surrounded a team of entirely young guys with capable veterans in free agency and then go from bottom feeder to fringe Play-In team. Dare I say they’re fun to watch?

Another big issue with Sarr so far is that his three-point shooting is a full body motion with his legs flung way out on the release. Shortening that by keeping the ball high and not going bottom-up should *hopefully* fix it and improve his shot if he can make it a habit
Interesting bit from practice yesterday: Corey Kispert appears to be working with (teaching) Alex Sarr on his non-drop three ball. Catching the pass up high and firing threes without lowering the ball was one of Kispert’s strengths last year.

Sarr starting at the 5 makes sense against a team like the Celtics but I would have to imagine Jonas Valanciunas gets the nod against most other bigger teams this year. Also! Bub at the 2!
