Little toothless doodle now that HTTYD is back in the public consciousness
tried making an edit of my own and fix the general design instead of just the pupil
I've made an edit of Toothless's eye in this scene, the truth is that the dilated pupils give it a more powerful essence and give more expressiveness and power to the scene... It's just my opinion, I'm really hyped to see the live action of the movie I grew up with.

I know dragons are fictional, but it'd still be cool if they applied reptile logic to the designs. Rather than importing the toon designs with higher rex textures and muscle/skin sim. No mobile lips, no mammalian puppydog eyes, just straight up reptiles

The early Toothless scenes where he still displays slit pupils are my favourite, he looks so menacing ad alien, you'd never know what a cute puppy he'll actually turn out to be.
