There’s nothing food wise that makes me happier at the moment than a chai latte and a cherry Bakewell 😍

VERY exciting day in the Porte household, Luca has lost his first tooth! I won’t lie, I definitely nearly cried when Richie phoned to say it had finally come out on the way home from school today 🥹 Why does this feel like such a huge milestone?

What’s worse than heading to bed and realising you’ve stripped the bed and forgotten to put the new sheets on? Your husband heading up first, giving zero f**ks that there’s no sheets on, climbing in bed regardless and falling asleep 😱

There seems to be a Bisto gravy shortage in Tassie (sorry but Gravox isn’t it for me) so I had to head online to find some. The problem is that then you get the ‘you may also like’ bit that shows every UK food & drink item I may be missing 😩 I stayed strong until I saw @vimto 😍

I got funny looks when I decided to take the kids on a solo trip. Been home 24hrs, 1 child has pissed the bed & the other has blocked the toilet with enough toilet roll to wipe every bum in Tassie. If I was in a hotel this would be embarrassing…but someone else’s problem 🙊

Was so close to a smooth solo trip with the kids, feeling all smug & proud at how few issues we’d had…10 meters from the car in the airport car park the little one spat it at the fact I didn’t have a spare hand for her to hold whilst in pack horse mode 😡 #weweresoclose

I’m sure whenever Richie goes away my kids think ooooh how can we stretch Mum’s solo parenting skills more 🤔 ooooh let’s wake her up and projectile vomit across her bathroom or oooh let’s throw ourselves off our chair or the all time favourite ooooh let’s discover FPIES.

Currently crouched on the ground hiding behind my bed, that both children are in, because they have just stirred and I want them to go back to sleep without seeing me. Is this normal parenting?
