Project 2025 is 900 pages long, because they don't want you to read it. Anne Nelson read every creepy page and breaks it down in the Gaslit Nation Project 2025 Super Special.🧵

Forcing survivors to provide “documents” immediately after being raped to access abortion is policy that protects rapists. Forcing victims to come forward in specific, traumatizing ways is a silencing tactic. That silence aids abuse. Holding healthcare hostage on top is depraved

Florida will now require rape and incest victims to show “documents” to prove they got raped. If they can’t provide them, the government will mandate they give birth to their rapist’s child. people.com/health/rape-in…

Very disappointed that several democrats supported the expansion of the death penalty in Florida. An imperfect system should not be exacting the ultimate punishment.

In Florida, 17 Democrats & 78 Republicans voted to expand the death penalty beyond what the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed. Just 14 Democrats voted against it. One of those Democrats later changed her vote from No to Yes, while two who voted Yes changed their votes to No.

I have reinstalled Twitter to respond to this story and make sure my voice is fully heard. I am Casey. My real name is Alex but my mom decided it would be best to hide it for anonymity. But this is my story, not hers. This is not the free press’s story.

Caroline was told that a puberty blocker would relieve her child's psychological distress. That's not what happened. More reporting from inside Washington University's Transgender Center by @EmilyYoffe : thefp.com/p/i-felt-bulli…

Bills are sailing through the FL legislature that would ban trans people from using private health insurance or Telehealth to get their medication. Tearing health care away from people because you don’t think they should exist. The white hot rage I feel.

27-12. The FL Senate passed SB 254 today — a vile, cruel bill that would criminalize health care for trans youth, ban telehealth access to that care for trans adults, & weaponize the courts against child custody agreements. Sen. @Gayle_Harrell was the only GOP no vote.

Today, marches will happen worldwide for #TransDayOfVisibility. We demand liberation. No more outlawing our medical care, our dignity. No more targeting children. To those marching: Thank you. We will bend the arc of history towards justice ourselves. twitter.com/LilahRPGtt/sta…

My statement about the 6-week abortion ban just filed in the House today. This directly takes away the freedom of so many women by putting the government in between you and your doctor. @FLHouseDems and I will stand against this legislation.

So glad to see images of what early pregnancy/abortion look like in The New York Times. This is what Republicans want to have more rights than women nytimes.com/2023/01/22/opi…

Ron DeSantis is now demanding info from all public universities about the services they provide transgender students. This is an attempt to intimidate them out of supporting trans students and shutting down research related to gender-affirming care without passing a single law.
