I forgot about this pattern. Step 1: Trump makes a crazy demand/statement. Step 2: He gets smacked in the face by reality and doesn’t get what he wants. Step 3: He claims victory anyway despite losing. Step 4: His supporters pretend he’s a genius. Step 5: Repeat
