HONORING VETERANS 🎖️ @SevierMiddleSC proudly hosted its annual #VeteransDay celebration Friday morning. Students paid tribute to dozens of community veterans, honoring both them and the rich history of the school's location.

Greenville County Schools celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Reedy Laurel Elementary School. Scheduled to open in August 2025, the school will offer a specialized environmental science program. Here’s an up-close look at today’s event!


Groundbreaking Ceremony for Reedy Laurel ES is underway. The new school is set to open in AUG 2025. The two-story, 119,000-square-foot building will accommodate up to 750 students when completed.

Mechatronics students at Bonds Career Center were thrilled to receive a robotic arm and a check for over $18,000 from local manufacturer ITW Hartness. The funds will be used to purchase equipment for the new arm, providing students with hands-on training for their future careers!


GCS had 110 students from 11 high schools participate in Western Region Choir sponsored by the SC Music Educators Association. It was led by Dr. Jeremy Mimms, Director of Choral Activities at Winthrop University and coordinated by Kayla Fernandez, Mauldin High Choral Director.
