I love Coastal Care Hospital! They saved my hedgehog’s life this past February with an emergency surgery by Dr. Webb. It’s such a relief to have these specialized vetrinary services in our province. It’s a long drive for us, but we’d take it on any day for this little one ❤️

Combing through the book again, I came across one of the drier lines ever offered by a government official, courtesy of the Minister of the DMF circa 1899. When people ask me if anyone ever “went crazy” on St. Paul Island, this always springs to mind. Say less, Minister.

Having a moment because my book is on Goodreads. I spent hours combing through that site looking for books to request from the library and cataloging my reading and now my own work is on there! I can’t figure out how to actually claim it as my own, but nevertheless!

One of several islands named St. Paul around the globe. Things could sometimes get confusing while researching our St. Paul - particularly when it came to shipwrecks and sealing.
