Just got my hand on @M5Stack StickC Plus and Core S3 development kit. Now I realize that there are so much that these things can do. I am very happy with the new toys and will spend a lot of time on using these for games and IOT
I upgraded my Odroid M1 to Debian 12 bookworm, but still find arm based apps lacking. I can’t even find latest Chrome browser package to install, maybe I am not looking hard enough
after trying to install native linux and some self hosted services to two arm-based SBC (Odroid-M1 & Banana Pi BPI-W3), I have a feeling that arm-based architecture is yet to get the same level of support compared to X86-based counterpart
Trying hard to install @home_assistant on Odroid-M1 SBC with supervised mode. Ran into a few snags, seems ARM architecture is not broadly supported as the x86 counterpart
I just ordered the new banana pi BPI-w3. It seems that it is one of the most powerful SBC and a good alternative to raspberry pi
I finally managed to set up a self hosted instance of #mealie on UTM of my Mac Mini, it is much better than doing that on my Synology NAS. Next step is to setup remote access so that my family can view and add cooking recipes hay-kot.github.io/mealie/

I finally got @plex media server working on my new #nvdiashiedpro working in full swing. Still do not know what caused it to stop connecting to anything first couple of days, I got the Shield pro

I just bought a Nvidia Shield Pro at a low price. However it took me 3 days to finally get Plex media server working. Still did not know what was the problem but magically I found from plex web but I can connect to the PMS

my next project is to install @roonlabs core on Linux and see whether the service sticks and worth uthe ongoing subscription
I finally decided to abandon to use #NextCloud. Too much administrative burden for personal use. Instead, I shall invest my time on #Synology DSM as the platform for storing and sharing files for the family members. NextCloud is more suitable for business and enterprise use.

I am getting the best of both worlds by using same mobile number with a physical sim card on my Pixel 7 Pro and a eSim on my Apple Watch LTE.
