Anyone else noticing that TouchID speed for authenticating Passkeys on macOS is significantly slower compared to unlocking the computer? Unlocking just requires me to quickly touch the sensor with my finger (0.2s?), while Passkeys take about 2 - 3s to detect my fingerprint 🤔

✨ Out now: Redpoint 4.0! I teamed up with @myell0w and @donatuswolf to completely redesign & rebuild Redpoint’s Apple Watch app. It’s now all built using SwiftUI, breaking the boundaries of what was possible on the old Apple Watch app.

Local push notifications are heavily delayed (10s or more) on iOS 18.1 beta 5, even if classified as “time sensitive”. Very annoying bug for one sec’s Re-Intervention feature. Pls fix, Apple 🙏 FB15255061
