My prayer is this: If a door is not meant for me to walk through, Lord shut it so tight I know it’s not your will. Otherwise, Lord help me to walk through that door with Grace, Humility, Godly Solomon prayed for Wisdom, the Courage of David, and held by Jesus.
God never leaves us. He’s never surprised. He is steady like the waves in the ocean. Consistent. He keeps his people. The anxiousness we feel is not of Him. He is steady. Unmovable. Unchanging. I think this is why it feels as if we can hear His love when we are near the sea. 🌊
My word is: Jesus. He is all I need. His name can be the only word spoken in a prayer and He hears.
You know who didn’t have a place here on earth? Jesus. 🎄 Not a crib. Not an inn. Not welcomed by this world in the 33 years he walked this earth. Oh, how he understands my darlings. He knows when we feel abandoned. Lonely. Left out. Unwanted. And, rejected.
Had the fish not swallowed Jonah he would have died. As bad as the belly of a fish was for 3 days, it’s what God used to save Jonah’s life. Our current circumstance or season may just be what God is using to protect us from something else. 🤍
It’s not motivation that keeps you showing up. It’s about discipline. Show up when you don’t feel like it, and get the results that motivate you to keep going. 🤍
If God ever uses me to get his work accomplished it is because I am unqualified to do so. He uses the most unlikely, unqualified, and unequipped to show it was all Him. For that I am thankful. 🤍
