Was a pleasure to share stories of our recent field work, research, exhibit renewal, and some of the spectacular new specimens we've collected. Great things happening @ManitobaMuseum #FossilFriday

Exhausted, my mind is shutting down but my heart is on fire. The last three days have been a gift, enriching my understanding, renewing my hope. Learning from my @ManitobaMuseum colleagues, attending the @GGCanada History Awards as @musecdn VP; I’ve been changed by these moments.

Had a really good time at the Cobb Gem and Mineral show. I saw many people who I haven't seen in years. I bought a lot of really good specimens. This is the last show of the year for me. Can't wait to see what 2025 will bring!

Polychelidan #lobsters are not widely known, because they now live only in deep waters. We re-described a small #fossil species with weird bulbous claws, Teruzzicheles popeyei (named after Popeye💪) and show it is related to extant polychelids and like them lived in deep water.
