Had a great time sharing my work at #AAG2023. So much great feedback from the audience in the last session of the last day! Thanks for the photos @DrAndyHong and thanks to all the folks behind the scenes at @theAAG - tech crews ftw!

Last day last session, but still great turnout! You guys rock! By the way, the photo is Chelsie presenting her wonderful work. #AAG2023

#AAG2023 conference bingo card time if you're in Denver for @theAAG annual meeting and care to partake

Veteran @theAAG'ers - what's your best advice for first time attendees to #AAG2023? I've been asked but I've only been a few times myself...I think this is better answered via crowdsourcing!

Be sure to test your smoke alarms tonight folks! I’ve pulled down melted smoke alarms that were still sounding in many fires…it’s worth making sure your home is safe.

#SpringForward to a safer home! Test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when you change your clocks this weekend! #DaylightSavingTime

PHiGlet in the wild! Way to go Pratyush! @UCSBgeog @PHiG_UCSB

Presented recently at GradSlam, a UC-wide 3-minute talk event for non-expert audience. Shared how satellites can aid in flood response efforts. Learnings from preparation workshops, peers and engagement with attendees were invaluable.

Looking forward to meeting some @UCSBgeog alumni at AAG this year!

It's always fascinating to see the breadth of geographic work being done here at @UCSBgeog - congrats to Dr.@kathy_baylis on her appointment as Director of the People & Poverty program at @emLabUCSB! emlab.ucsb.edu/blog/emlab-spo…

In the midst of finals week, and, an exceptionally difficult quarter of grad school, I'm pretty excited to have completed the requirements to re-certify my EMT license. Celebrating those little wins! #NREMT

It's been a while, so here's my 4 step process for composing an email: (1) add any attachments; (2) write the email; (3) add subject line; (4) add recipient e-mail address(es). This ensures you remember the attachment, have a relevant subject and don't send before you're ready!

::tap tap:: This thing on? After some time away, I'm back and ready to see what #FireServiceTwitter and #AcademicTwitter are up to.

Someone much wiser than me once said "capitalize your strengths and shore up your weaknesses." Just a little something to think about as you plan your week or think about your summer plans.

Shout out to all the awesome dispatchers out there! It’s an incredibly hard job that can make or break our initial response. Plus a great dispatcher showcases the excellence of a department. #telecommunicatorappreciation

PSA: When was the last time you backed up the super important project you've been working on? When was the last time you did a full backup of your computer? #SaveEarlySaveOften
