“ i travel alone. ” for many reasons, trust issues rise among that; but also.. it's a dangerous path to walk. a nod of thanks to the waitress, manners; again on display even where words fail. “ depends on the day, hunted both vampires and werewolves. ” and many more.
he can hardly contain his excitement at that. “ you hunt monsters! now that is just brilliant— please, you must allow me to accompany you some time. you’re the perfect muse. ” the waitress returns with their oversized tankards and he gives her a smile, [ … ]
there's silence, before accepting that renly is most likely not giving up the topic easily. “ i hunt monsters. ” it's the truth, though unlike his.. ex-brothers and sisters in arms; he spares many too. it's, situational.
“ oh, come on, everyone’s got a story— you certainly *look the interesting type. what do you do for a living, then?! ” whether the man is talkative or no, renly is *determined to get a story out of him. he’s the most interesting face that’s showed up around here in months!
“ i'm not the most.. musically versed. ” he said with a small shrug, a nod of thanks. “ nowhere interesting. ” a home he won't ever return to, nothing awaits him. as for his story, he seems.. hesitant to share it.
he deflates. “ just fine? i’ve got to up my game . . . ” though his friendly smile quickly returns as he waves down a passing waitress, ordering two ales on him. “ so . . . where are you from? what is your story, i wonder? ”
cyrvin went to protest, but; with the bard in the seat, it saves him from any other company. the reason for him being there was simple, a chance to rest. “ it was fine. ” not exactly a man with all the knowledge in the world of arts, such as music, performance.
renly grins, taking it as an offer to sit down in the chair across from his new acquaintance. “ so, were you here for my set? be honest— what’d you think? i wasn’t off key, was i? i was a little sick last week, you see— may have impacted the quality of my performance . . . ”
