The way life became easier for me to navigate when I stopped thinking of achievements in relation to age >>>>>

Lastly, age-at-achievement should not be a measure of success in my opinion. You can finish at 20 and go bankrupt at 30. You can finish at 45 and become world-renowned at 50. You can finish at 26 and get a life-altering diagnosis at 27. Achievements are simply achievements!

Anyone know how to retrieve childlike wonder

The cost of living in Accra is extremely ridiculous

we’re here for it.

Next year I’ll self-publish a few pidgin stories online because I miss putting pidgin short stories out there.

the human traffic, the atrocious scents from people that come with head-throbbing uppercuts, the slow walker in front of you and the impossibility of overtaking because space no dey. the truck pushers and yogurt sellers also vying for space among others. proper frustration

honestly walking through Accra central is not for the weak, especially if you have not eaten.Every step needs to be calculated.😭

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours. Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. 2 Corin 4:7-8

storytelling is one of the best concepts humanity ever came up with

Whenever I watch a good film or TV show I realize just how talented good writers are because they do such amazing things with situation and words. Writers are significantly underrated. Fictional writers to be precise.

Ghanaians are poor, no amount of flyovers and colourful murals will change that. You don't want to see hawkers, what social interventions have you put in place? Where are the jobs for the masses? Even people with office jobs are hawking one thing or the other under their desks

The Etornam™ Reposted

We vote governments into power & they spend their entire tenure enriching themselves, give us one flyover at the end of eight years and we clap for them, while we stay poor, having to hawk for survival, having to claw at each other daily for a seat in tin vans to commute to work
