Heartbreaking and tragic news of children being attacked and killed in #Southport today, my thoughts with the families & loved ones who will be in unimaginable pain. I hope those in critical condition will make a swift recovery and my gratitude to the emergency services 🙏

I heartily welcome the PM's confirmation today that 'the Rwanda Policy is dead and buried'-I hope the needs of vulnerable people caught by the Illegal Migration Act will now be addressed, safe&legal routes opened up, international cooperation furthered and criminal gangs tackled.
