It has been a very busy January for Hannah! She has taken over our Monday night sing & sign group with brilliant success and been travelling around Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire providing music therapy in a variety of settings 🎶🌈
Hannah ran a session for the youngest patients at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital yesterday alongiside play, occupational and physio therapists 👶🏼🎶 Head over to @RACH_Playservic to see more pics. This is the first time a group like this has been run on the medical ward!

We are absolutely delighted to share that further funding has been secured for music therapy to continue at The Eden Unit in Royal Cornhill Hospital! Nadine will continue to work on the ward with eating disorder patients individually and working towards group sessions 🎶
Our wonderful Monday night sing and sign group is still running! It started during Covid and the group has continued weekly since. Tonight was Hannah’s first night leading the group! 🎶👍🏻🌟

Our partnership with @barnardos has continued to grow. We have recently facilitated a block of group music therapy sessions. Two music therapy groups ran alongside each other, one for young carers and the other for the cared for sibling. This was the first project of its kind.

We are excited to announce that Nadine will be commencing a music therapy project at Royal Cornhill Hospital in Aberdeen on the Eden Unit. Nadine will now be working with patients on the ward providing individual music therapy sessions as part of a multidisciplinary team 🎵☀️
The ELM team have had a very busy 1st week back of the school term 🎶 Unna has been working with pupils at Orchard Brae & Quarryhill Schools, Nadine has been working from a new location in Laurencekirk, And Hannah has been busy travelling and meeting new clients this week!
