Nothing will radicalize you more than a guy that makes >$140k telling a group of people making less than $25k that he’s not interested in ensuring graduate assistants can make a living wage, over and over for more than 1 year straight. Easiest 140k ever made

🧵We have been bargaining for over one year. It is disheartening to know how often University of Florida has explicitly said they are "simply not interested" in improving the well-being of graduate assistants.

Forensic Architecture put out a 827-page report analysing Israeli military actions, demonstrating in practice the genocide, and it's been largely ignored. Findings include: "Between 7 Oct 2023 and 30 June 2024 approximately 83% of all plant life in Gaza was destroyed."

I have been seeing many poor takes using this graph implying that the economic concerns of low SES ppl aren’t legitimate because ppl have already started flipping right after the election - but half of the items composing this score are about the future…

Speaking today at #SSSP in Memphis about how structural factors like labor laws and material conditions can inhibit collective organizing. If you are not here yet, you can still book a flight to Memphis to see this riveting blitz with some fancy multi-level modeling.
