@NairobiWater @Nbiwater_Care Must Nyayo Estate cry weekly to get water supply? This wk the supply is way less. 1k units for 27+ residents. Why?? @PDUDelivery @NMS_Kenya @minwater_sani @ntvkenya @citizentvkenya @MtaaniAlerts @Amazinlenah #Nyayoisthirsty

We haven't noticed any significant improvement in our daily supply. Like I said we wont allow to be hoodwinked again. You have done this for over 15 yrs. We demand 10k -12k units per wk. This will see our residents live a dignified life with 3 days supply per wk. @NSSF_ke

@NairobiWater @Nbiwater_Care kindly do your job. We demand for consistent supply of water. Don’t just be consistent in wanting to disconnect for nonpayment.

Emma Mutua Reposted

I personally believe this is an artificial problem. It's been created to benefit some individuals selling us water. Imagine buying water weekly! And then having a bill to pay for a commodity that I have never consumed! This madness needs to stop!

Emma Mutua Reposted

We should stop paying altogether until they behave. Better yet we deny them access to the estate

Emma Mutua Reposted

@NairobiWater its unfair and unacceptable to deny residents access to water yet same is a right guaranteed under the constitution.. @NMS_Kenya should also be called out on this..

Emma Mutua Reposted

We can afford to pay for water, just deliver it to us.

Emma Mutua Reposted

We just need the basics. Tupatie maji Nairobi Water. Are we asking for too much kweli?

Emma Mutua Reposted

Our supply barely last 3 hrs a day. If we had constant supply for even 5 days a week for say 12 hrs. All our problems will be solved. Its appalling how they expect us to survive with flushing toilets in family units of not less than 4 members.

Emma Mutua Reposted

I still need an explanation how the surrounding residential estates have water and Nyayo does not. This is looks like sabotage.

Emma Mutua Reposted

Few individuals in NWSC must be cashing in in this artificial shortage. We know the dams are full, we know the amount that is supplied to Nairobi and we know it's possible for Nyayo to get constant 4 days supply.

Emma Mutua Reposted

@NairobiWater Nyayo Estate-Embakasi has been thirsty for 3wks now. 27k plus population supplied with 6k cubic meters per wk translate to about 220ltrs per resident per wk. This is unacceptable #Nyayoisthirsty @NMS_Kenya @PDUDelivery @MtaaniAlerts

16:49 Its funny within 24hours the contractor is on the ground but Mwiki- Kasarani road residents had to demonstrate and even some died all this is our taxpayers, failed state via @mcessVi

The police are doing this to intimidate Atty and everyone else fighting for a better Kenya.Police never use that kind of force when arresting rich crooks. That kind of violence is only used on everyday citizens who who are fighting corruption and the culture of impunity. #FreeAtty

All that violence for an un armed woman who knew enough of her rights to resist mistreatment!!! When Babu owino shot the DJ was he arrested in such a dramatic fashion? #freeatty

Emma Mutua Reposted

@DCI_Kenya , why didn't police use teargas to arrest babu Owino, after shooting a citizen, but choose to waste that teargas on Atty, teargas that was bought by taxpayers money? #FreeAtty

Emma Mutua Reposted

Kenya Police behave like criminals when going after active citizens. Anyone who dares challenge their criminality is targeted with brutal force, batons, teargas and bullets. They have teargassed Mildred Atty's house, shot her dog dead, insulted, assaulted and then arrested her.
