It’s been a little while since I was active here on Twitter so I’m just stopping by with a small professional update for followers who might see it! I’m leaving my current employers, @HFL_Education, in October to take on an exciting new role (details to follow in due course!) ❤️

#NewProfilePic thanks to James Kenny at Headshot Company 🙂

So very lovely to get all the updates and news from @ICTEvangelist - still my top PLN pal 🥰 also, a fab lecture by @mhairi_aitken at @GWC_News on AI and the opportunities and risks it poses.

Delighted to have the opportunity tonight to catch up with good friend @eLearnMissKelly this evening in Edinburgh

My little love has been delighted by Bing Image Creator in conjunction with Canva recently. He's made lots of anime (his current love) style graphics of his friends, himself, and his aunt's dog, and he's started making prints for his room. @MSEducationUK @UKBing @canva @CanvaEdu

Great to have such a strong PLN. Had a question & reached out to @ICTEvangelist for his opinion. 2 mins later he is on the phone. Not only a fountain of knowledge but a great guy first and foremost. Thanks for your advice & time mate, always great to catch up #pln #edtech

We used this idea for our Monster Phonics Day last week. Fabulous results. Thank you for the idea.

I might be being weird here, but I’m failing to see the issue with the M&S advert. They’re not saying Christmas isn’t Christmas - they’re saying don’t buy into all the instaperfect virtue signalling that’s only for the ‘gram. Basically, do the things that are your traditions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There should be just one primary expectation of those we recruit: do what you do best. Then there should be just one primary expectation of leaders: create the conditions where exceptional people can *actually* do what they do best. Excellence in organisations can be simple

Guess who my kiddo has asked to dress up as for Halloween? I think they call this the “apple not falling far from the tree”… #LiteraryCostumes #BooksAreEverything @HertsEnglish Bonus benefit: World Book Day is sorted 😂

Learned last night from my 10yr old that he is being verbally and physically bullied by a boy in the year above him. Mama bear instincts have never been stronger. Anyone got knowledge of bullying policies in Glasgow City Council? 😡

I started and finished this today and devoured it in close to one sitting. It was brilliant, clever, and I really enjoyed the twists, the characters, and the writing style. Tremendous way to indulge a child free Saturday. #impossible #sarahlotz

Where could Computing take you? Been working on a poster from an idea I magpied from @MissPrasher - I can only fit the University options on this, will have to do another for a College pathway. Computing is just so popular!

Lovely to peek back into the Scottish EdTech scene at the @WeareXMA @XMALearning @MSEducationUK event today. Thanks @mconlon68 for the heads up! So interesting to see how the work I’m currently doing still connects so closely to the tech tools used in schools. 🥰
