Don't expect peace from people who are at war with themselves. Don't expect honesty from people who lie to themselves. Don't expect loyalty from people who betray themselves. They can't give you what they can't give themselves. See them as they are, not who you wish them to be.
And when you pray tonight…pray for the habit of rewarding yourself. I don’t think we speak enough about self rewards like we emphasise on working hard. Normalise rewarding yourself, take some rest, applaud & spoil yourself. You deserve that from you..it’s a form of gratitude.
