Just spent a month interviewing somewhere for a front end dev role. Failed the last interview, feedback was I needed more experience with distributed systems design. For a FE role? :-/ not sayings it’s bad to know that stuff but should that be a disqualification?
Agreed. If you judge people based on just one of their opinions I assume you are a dumbass. Waitaminute…
This is a bad habit. Don’t assume a developer is bad just because they like a technology. We all have different experiences, goals, priorities, and requirements.
Is this an actual example of a good reason to use type any? 🫨
We're using a component wrapper over @tan_stack query. We call it "DataLoader", and it's making our developers happier and more productive. I've attached a minimal demo and usage example. Let me know if you'd like a packaged version with all the bells and whistles!
I look forward to working with the Trump Administration on fulfilling his promise to cap credit card interest rates at 10%. We cannot continue to allow big banks to make record profits by ripping off Americans by charging them 25 to 30% interest rates. That is usury.
100% taxation = slavery They see themselves as slave owners , and they are posting "wanted posters" of run away slaves.
A lot of people are now in Bangkok for Devcon, an Ethereum conference, and a lot of them are stuck in Bangkok traffic for hours I lived there for 10+ years on and off and there's a specific workflow we digital nomads developed to get around Bangkok FAST: - book your hotel near…
The plot twist: this is really @joshmanders confessional 😜
I just watched a dev stream where he was copying and pasting code by selecting then right clicking and going to copy. I have no words.
Hey this looks kinda like my website
And it’s called an Array because they usually used a pirate named Raymond to do said pointing.
I just realized that the reason it’s an array “index” is because it points (just like your index finger is used to point) at one element. Kinda obvious in retrospect.
Do this. Do this more. This is literally how the internet works. He cited you right? I don't even think he had to if he transformed it enough (arguable).
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.
Hahaha Guillermo’s tweet was 10 dimensional chess to get you free tier leeches off his infra and you all fell for it gg
Congratulations the President on winning isn’t actually political IMHO.
I host pretty much every site I own on Vercel. This isn’t surprising, but disappointing. I’m leaving everything triangle company related. Moving hosts, analytics, never touching Next on personal projects. Hoping Rich and team can somehow move Svelte out of their hands.
Evaluating skills first is about matching the needs of the position against the needs of the function. Secondly it’s also the best way to reconcile the candidate’s honesty. IMHO CV would be better organized skills first. That’s how the interview goes anyway. “Tell me about “…
Design was ALWAYS about solving problems. Since always. Anything else is decoration, not design.
