Does anyone know of any (academic?) books about #Japanese 'promide' #photography in the 1920s/30s? Film stars etc. Preferably in English but failing that in Japanese (or Chinese).

Extremely satisfying weekend as I went to see my photo at the Street Category exhibition at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography. It was my first time ever submitting any of my work so I’m quite proud. 😊 👇🏼Photo taken in Cockburn St in Edinburgh back in 2021.

Hive mind, can anyone think of a sculpture that was created to dialogue with another? Not by the same artist and different eras can also work (best if one of them is contemporary). Ta-ta! #art #sculpture #artist #contemporaryart

Currently studying in order to write a piece on contemporary Chinese art. I found this breakdown of the exhibitions of contemporary art throughout #China between 1977 and 1986. Any data on the numbers of the past 10 years? 👇Catalogue "Art Chinois 1990: Chine Demain pour Hier"

Writing in Italian now feels like an almost impossible task. I have to use an English to Italian dictionary because some words are just not coming. I never thought it was going to happen, but here we are!
