Outsiders consistently underestimate the impact of permitting uncertainty & delays on attracting $$ for real estate development. You could get a *lot* more housing under the rules we have today, simply by improving the day-to-day functioning of planning & building departments.

Coming soon! A 100% affordable, 31 unit, almost finished apartment building near E. Adams and Central Ave. Building is approximately 16k sf with 22 studios and 9 one bedrooms, no parking, delivered vacant. OM just getting started and should be on the market by early next week.

How does any of this makes sense??

CA apartment owners: Strongly urge you to support the California Apartment Association as they work to defeat Prop 33 & pass 34. CAA has a good plan; what they need is $$$ to execute it. Pls go to their website to learn more.

I just listed this property adjacent to the Culver City border but with City of LA rules. Great owner/user potential and/or redevelopment potential. Prime location, visibility and possibilities!

I sold this site to current ownership. Such a great project for the area and amazing design work. Virgil Village is booming! la.urbanize.city/post/mixed-use…

This hotel sale was a very tough sale. Seller finally caught up to market pricing expectations!

4773 W HOLLYWOOD BLVD disq.us/t/4pcut8a Great project we sold! Cant wait to see the final product.

Prevailing wage for ED1 is an automatic deal killer. What’s more important, actual affordable housing or making sure union labor is hired?

This is the result of failed tax and housing policies. With so much pent up demand to build from my clients, very few deals pencil enough these days to be worthwhile. therealdeal.com/la/2024/01/05/…
