At what point do we remind folk this bike lane is part of the paper-thin transport solution for the Mac Point Stadium? Scrap the bike lane, scrap the billion dollar stadium? 🤯#fedup #politas

Had a brilliant little wander in the rock garden that is Ben Lomond last weekend. Great to explore some less visited areas of Tassie.

There’s a lot more to come on this in coming months. It’s a toxic industry for the livestock, for the environment, for the consumer and for communities and soon the shareholders.

Thankful for the past work done by @ChristineMilne, @BobBrownFndn et al, on the WHA extension to include the Birchs Inlet region. Now is the time to demand inclusion of the whole Spero Wanderer Lewis wilderness. The D’Aguilar Range is as fine as any on Earth; pictured this week.

3 days before the windup proceedings Hackett transferred the only asset of Wild Drake to himself. He cut loose investors & creditors. We’re yet to establish if this is legal but it says a lot. A good character to hold a lease a over World Heritage island @NickDuigan ? #politas

Seems Hackett has run away from the debts he owed as Wild Drake Director and switched the EPBC referral to himself. Did the Feds know that Wild Drake was insolvent? Did @NickDuigan knowingly transfer the lease over Halls Island to the director of an insolvent company? #politas

Blowing outside and blowouts inside #politas today

Last week I was silly enough to believe the current stadium cost estimate was $830 million. Budget Estimates today has revealed it is $830m PLUS the cost of a 3 story underground carpark, moving the Goods Shed, the access road, and a transit centre. Lot of $$$ there... #politas

Change IS possible. C’mon @DeanWinterMP it’d be nice to see you adopt an environment policy or three from the Greens. #politas

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well I guess @rosaliewoodruff and @TasmanianGreens can feel very flattered indeed. It’s only taken @DeanWinterMP and @TasmanianLabor a few short months to copycat the Greens’ 2024 State Election slogan. #politas
