This is great work by @RCollEM @RCEMpresident & others. But we need to remember this is a problem affecting children too (& disaggregate data for kids). Heartbreaking stuff. We may need different strategies for sorting this out in Children’s A&E departments nationally.
It really matters a lot if an elderly person waits more than 6 hours to be admitted. Last year, nearly 400,000 people stayed more than 24 hours in English EDs. This is a fixable problem twitter.com/RCollEM/status…
